articles,stories,

THE JOURNEY OF THE PETRIFIED JELLY

I was so confused again. Wondering what causes my confusion. Is it because my brain doesn’t working again or is it because there is something that causes my brain inactive? I couldn’t think of anything to say. I am struggling to grasp a word. I want my brain to be spontaneously active but every time I am so, I can hardly sleep as if the sleep function of my body was evading me. Is there something that I could do to solve this problem? I want an answer. Hoping that by continuing to speak this way would help me a lot to get close with the answer that I am searching. I am trying to be shrewd. There are so many elements that hinder me from my goal. Maybe I have forgotten how to use the language of the world again-- It is all about using the feelings or the senses that is universally similar to humans.

For a while, I want to share a story. This is the story of a guy who was and is searching for real love. The love that would be ideal, far from romanticism, and fantasy. The love that is realistic and applicable to the world created for us to learn, experience and also to suffer. The guy suffered many pain from love experience. But each and every pain that he’s been through gets him closer to the ingredient of what is real love for him. He’s been dedicated to pursue and search for the real love but there is just too many elements that keep him confuse and hinders him from it. He has become desperate, hopeless and helpless. There was a fresh memory from his past when he was fall in love with his girl friend. But he thinks he always got the wrong time to pursue courting her. The guy was of course aware that the girl was also in love with him or most probably she also has a feeling for him. The guy waited for the girl but the girl has someone else. But when the girl losses her someone else, the stupid guy has got someone too. Well, u can’t blame him because he thought he can never have the time in the world for her already. Since he has found out the she still got a chance, he waited for the right time to fix everything and get a perfect time to be with the girl. So the time that he was waiting has seemed in front of him already so he pursues what he believed to be right. He started courting the girl. But after a hasty run of the month, the girl evanesced form the guy’s existence. No matter how much the guy tried to bring the sun in the night, he was still hopeless. How pity that was. There came a time that only to find out the girl has again already with someone else. That’s naturally poignant I bet, only a numb person who can’t able feel the pain of the situation.

How terrible the guy has been through. But the guy is an optimistic one. Life is all about suffering anyway. Those who suffered a lot will be retaliated with glory. Those who suffered pain will have something to gain. Those who are open to challenge is open for knowledge. Those who are open to knowledge are open for growth. Those who welcome growth will be welcoming life. Those who welcome life will be welcoming happiness. Those who are genuinely happy will have an existence that can conquer death and welcome eternity.

philosophy

happiness in a nutshell

philosophy

When you change,
your situation changes.
It is a law.

We all fail. But it is not failing that hurts.

What hurt is knowing that
you didn't give your best.

Have the discipline to do
little things you dont like and you can spend your life

doing the big things you do like.(happy? I havent got time to be happy!)

The moment you get
too attached to things,
people...
you screw it up!

The challange of life
is to appreciate everything
and attached yourself to nothing.

On giving advice:
If people arent asking you,
they usually dont want
the information!

Next time you are upset,
remember its not so much
people who make you angry,
it's your thoughts about them.

Whatever thoughts
are causing you pain,
they are only thoughts.
You can change a thought.

The more emotional
you are about things,
the less control you have.

Life usually becomes more challanging,
but you embark on an outer journey
which starts the inner journey.

Where did we get the idea that
if we dont forgive people, they suffer?

For the world to treat you well,
you have to treat yourself well.

When we forgive ourselves,
we stop criticising other people.

Because we are already attracting
the learning experiences we need,
we often attract what we fear.

If you fear loneliness,
you’ll attract that.
If you fear embarassment,
you’ll fall on your face.

It’s life’s way of encouraging us to grow.
The only way to beat fear is to face it.

Pain is not your enemy.
Pain is your friend!

(If I had known today was going to be
so awful, I would have been happy yesterday!)

Courage is not the abscene of fear -
courage is acting in spite of fear.

People who do nothing
with their lives are just as scared
as people who take major risks.

The happiest people dont worry too much
about where life is fair or not.
They just get on with it.

If you want
more peace of mind,
stop labeling everything
that happens as
”good” or “bad”.

If you think the world
is against you, it is.
Blaming other people
doesnt work.

When you fight life,
life always wins.

The universe is always
nudging as with gentle signals.
When we miss the signals,
it nudges us with a
sledgehammer.

Growth is most painful
when we resist it.

If there is something
in your life you dont want
stop worrying about it
and stop talking about it.

The energy you put into it
keeps it alive.
Withdraw your energy
and it will likely go away.

Your missiOn in life
is not to be
without problems -
your mission
is to get excited.

What you
focus on expands …
so think about
what you want!

Detachment is a major reason
why rich people get richer.

They dont care so much -
they're not desperate.

Theres a big difference
between a poor persons attitude -

(We all know how serious this is…
–others were just laughing—)

To see things differently,
you dont need willpower,
self-confidence,
or brain surgery,
You just need the courage
to think the unfamiliar.

Your beliefs determine
your quality of life.

Your life will only work
when you take full responsibility
for your choices.

Life doesnt have to be
an endless struggle.
Let things flow.
We are not here
to be punished.

We are here
to be educated.

Simplify your life.
Quit doing things out of habit.

Your life is
a perfect reflection
of your beliefs.

When you change
your deepest beliefs
about the world,
your life changes
accordingly.

If peace of mind is your daily goal,
you will get better and better.

Your mission in life
is not to change the world.

Your mission is to change yourself.

There are no “outside” solutions,
only “inside” solutions.

You give your best
not because you need
to impress people.

You give your best because
thats the only way
to enjoy your life.

Fred says:
”I think like I do
because my life is a mess!”
No Fred, your life is a mess
because you think
like you do!

We are here to learn lessons,
and the world is our teacher.

When we fail to learn a lesson,
we get to take it again … and again!

Once we have learned the lesson,
we move on to the next one.

(And we never run out of lessons!)

God is never going to come down
from a cloud and say:
”You now have permission
to be successful!

You have to
give yourself
permission.

The question is always:
”What are you doing
with what you have?”

While the answer is “not much”,
nothing gets better.

The universe rewards effort,
not excuses.

Many of us became different people
in order to please everyone else.

Loving people means
giving them the freedom
to be who they choose to be
and where they choose to be.
Love is allowing people to be
in your life out of choice.

When have you made the
most important decision in your life?
When you were on your knees -
after disaster, after knock-backs,
when you have been kickedn the head.
Thats when we say to ourselves:
”Im sick of being broke,
sick of being kicked around.
Im tired of being mediocre.
Im going to do something.”
We learn our biggest lessons
when things get rough

Act as if every event has a purpose,
and your life will have a purpose.

Figure out why you needed
an experience, conquer it,
and you wont need it again.

NATURAL PHENOMENON

THE UNREAL NATURE OF HUMAN NATURE

I guess the answers to all of the questions that we've been trying to find are all written in the nature and can be find in a natural way. Though, ironically, we are drifted by the things around us and we are bounded by ourselves, the imperfect harmony of the body and the soul. the body limits the capacity and freedom of the soul, while the soul nag the body. It turns out that the soul was caged by the body and the body was staggered and shaken by the soul. Since they do not conform and emerge together, the nature of the real self has become murky.
i believe in the interrelatedness of things. If we can't arrive to the real nature of being a human, we can't get the nature of being in nature of human environment. The nautre is simply the truth that we seek, the truth that can set us free, that can make us grow, that can make our existence meaningful.
when man can't arrive to his real nature, he was then creating another nature far from the nature he is suppose to be in. But human have to bear in mind that there is always hope while he lives, though he was triggered by the other nature that he created, there is always chance if he continue to strive and search for the real truth where the whole nature of its existence laid..

"A human being is a part of a whole, called by us _universe_, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

-albert einstein

"change can be beautiful so do not be afraid to try,to learn, to grow."

Even a fool knows you can't reach the stars,
but that doesn't stop a wiseman from trying.

"You can't make someone else's choices.
You shouldn't let someone else make yours."
Life Philosophy of Gen. Colin Powell

Man is not the creature of circumstances,
circumstances are the creatures of men.
We are free agents, and man is more powerful than matter.
Life Philosophy of Benjamin Disraeli

A life lived in fear is a life half lived.

There are always two choices. Two paths to take.
One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy.

Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will.
Life Philosophy of Zig Ziglar

You will never achieve what you never begin...

The measure of a man is the way he bears up under misfortune.

Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.
Philosophy of Life by Andre Gide

"If one seeks advice, give them direction, not correction. "

Sooner or later, those who win are those who think they can.
Philosophy of Life by Richard Bach

"Do the things you know, and you shall learn the truth you need to know. "
Philosophy of Life by George Macdonald

Let us not be content to wait and see what will happen,
but give us the determination to make the right things happen.
Philosophy of Life by Peter Marshall

Don't take life too seriously. no one gets out alive, anyways.

Before you talk about what you want - appreciate what you have.

A man either lives life as it happens to him, meets it head-on and licks it,
or he turns his back on it and starts to wither away.
Life Philosophy from Gene Roddenberry

You see, in life, lots of people know what to do,
but few people actually do what they know.
Knowing is not enough! You must take action.
Life Philosophy from Anthony Robbins

If you believe you can, you probably can.
If you believe you won't, you most assuredly won't.
Belief is the ignition switch that gets you off the launching pad.
Life Philosophy from Denis Waitley

You can do what you think you can do and you cannot do what you think you cannot
Life Philosophy from Ben Stein

Find something you love to do
and you'll never have to work a day in your life.

Psychoanalysis

HUMAN CHARACTER AS A VITAL LIE

human behavior is basically dynamic. The root causes of all human behavior are hard to dig up. many psychologist are and were on the hunt in excavating all the roots of our diverse behavior. one of them found clues that leads to the trail and tried to uncover it. Earnest Becker, in his book the denial of death gives hint and explanation on the root cause of human characters.
He explained that most of our behavior is a vital lie. we tend to thwart away reality by covering our weakness and strength with a mask of fantasy. We are only evading the reality that we are supposedly seeking. we are afraid to stand alone on ourselves, we are afraid to take the risk to know ourselves because we might not be able accept the things that we can discover within us. In effect, we don't want to discover and test our capabilities to grow, to uncover the reality and become a real human of reality. we fear that our weakness and strength might swallow us,we might not be able to handle them. So in order to avoid the fear, we tend to formulate many defenses underlying fantasy, to act with a hoax to the world.
Becker also explained that we fear death and at the same time we fear life. During our childhood,we are confused to where ourselves laid. We don't know the world, our environment, the reason and purpose of our existence. Hence, since we don't know anything about us, we tend to stick to our parents because we are afraid and unsure to what to do. We believe that our parents help us to discover ourselves. But, like our parents' parents, they failed to show them reality. Then, our parents probably will fail to show us also the reality. We then become afraid to live because of the fear of the unknown world because sometimes the world that our parents introduced to us is different from the world that we are experiencing. Yet, we are also afraid to die, afraid to risk discovering our real self. We are afraid that taking an action is too dangerous and we might not be able to take its consequences, we might die on it. For example, you have done wrong action or you have sinned to someone and telling it to that someone might pronounce a peril to you. You are then formulating defenses, forging away the memory and the action that might suppose to give positive growth on you. Knowing that life and death are so fearsome, we tend to dress ourselves with grandiosity of lie and fantasy just to cope up with the real world.

To a dancing God.: Sam Keen

The second step requires that i go beyond the idiosyncratic and egocentric perception of immediate experience. mature awareness is possible only when i have digested and compensated for the biases and the prejudices that are the residue of my personal history. awareness of what presents to me involves a double movement of attention: silencing the familiar and welcoming the strange. Each time i approach an object, person or event, i have the tendency to let my present needs, past experience, or expectations for the future determine what I will see. If i am to appreciate the uniqueness of any datum, I must be sufficiently aware of my preconceived ideas and characteristic emotional distortion to bracket them long enough to welcome strangeness and novelty into my perceptual world. This discipline of bracketing, compensating, or silencing requires sophisticated self knowledge and courageous honesty. yet, without this discipline each present moment is only the repetition of something already seen or experienced. In order for genuine novelty to emerge, for unique presence of things, persons, or even to take a root in me, I must undergo a decentralization of the ego.

life is a constant change.we have to conform to it or else we would run out of the trend of the world,we would become stagnant. likewise to searching for knowledge, we can't hold all the things that we have learned throughout our life because it is not exempted from the infinite process of change. If we want to welcome new ideas and if we want to acquire new ideas, we have to set aside our old ideas or personal preoccupation so we can give way to a new one. Just like the last sentence of the poem say, we must undergo a decentralization of the ego.

neuroticism

I have frequently seen people become neurotic when they content themselves with inadequate or wrong answers to the questions of life (Jung, [1961] 1989:140).

The majority of my patients consisted not of believers but of those who had lost their faith (Jung, [1961] 1989:140).

[Contemporary man] is blind to the fact that, with all his rationality and efficiency, he is possessed by "powers" that are beyond his control. His gods and demons have not disappeared at all; they have merely got new names. They keep him on the run with restlessness, vague apprehensions, psychological complications, an insatiable need for pills, alcohol, tobacco, food – and, above all, a large array of neuroses. (Jung, 1964:82).

alpha lesson

life is really so ironic. You search for love but the more you search it,the harder you find it.

your are already committed, then someone would come along at a perfect wrong time…

you have given up everything for that someone but she has gave you up just for someone else…

what’s even more challenging but so painful to experience is that you have given all the love that you can give, yet they totally rejected it…

so what’s the lesson?

just learn to deal with the irony of life…
